On the evening of December 31, 2024, at Ho Chi Minh Square, Vinh City, the art program "Nghe An in the heart of the Fatherland" and "Song Lam Spirit" took place to welcome the new year 2025, with the participation of leaders of Nghe An province, Military Region 4, Vinh City and thousands of people.
In particular, the art program "Nghe An in the heart of the Fatherland" includes 3 parts: Part 1: "Returning to the mountains and rivers" introduces singing and dancing performances imbued with Nghe Tinh Vi and Giam folk songs - Representative intangible cultural heritage of humanity recognized by UNESCO.
Part 2: "Songs that go with the years" are songs praising Nghe An homeland during the resistance wars such as "Tieng ho tren dat Nghe An", "Co quan quan Lang Do", "Hello, Lam Hong girl"...
Part 3: "Nghe An new day song" with songs "Rhythm of dawn", "Nghe An in my heart", "Nghe An going offshore"... expressing the aspiration to build the homeland to be more and more prosperous.
The program “Hao khi Song Lam” includes modern music performances, spectacular artistic light shows, performed by dance troupes, dance groups and famous stars.
The highlight of the program is the countdown and performance of modern lighting technology Laser and Led Screen Matrix, combined with music and interactive dance lasting 15 minutes, welcoming the new year 2025.
On this occasion, Nghe An province launched a campaign to create and promote literary and artistic works with the theme "A common Vietnamese foundation", to encourage artists to create works praising the revolutionary cause, patriotism and pride in their homeland Nghe An.
At the same time on the evening of December 31, 2024, at the Vinwonder Cua Hoi entertainment area, Nghi Hoa ward, Vinh city, a high-altitude fireworks display event also took place to welcome the new year, attracting a large number of people to attend.
