Fire in a tourist electric vehicle parking lot in Huong Tich pagoda area, many cars burned down

    Ha Tinh - At noon on July 8, a major fire broke out at the electric car parking lot in the Huong Tich pagoda tourist area, burning down 9 electric cars and 1 car.

    According to information from the Huong Tich Pagoda Tourist Area Management Board (Can Loc Commune), at around 11:00 a.m. on July 8, an electric car was charging at the parking lot of a tourist service business to Huong Tich Pagoda when it exploded, causing a major fire.

    The fire quickly spread, causing 9 electric cars (a type of passenger car) and 1 Mazda car of the employee parked next to be burned, leaving the frame exposed.

    According to a leader of the Fire Prevention and Rescue Team of Hong Linh area (under the Fire Prevention and Rescue Department of Ha Tinh Provincial Police), 2 vehicles and 12 officers and soldiers were dispatched to the scene to put out the fire.

    At around 11:30 am on the same day, the fire was completely controlled.

    The fire was determined to have caused no human casualties. The authorities are investigating the cause.
