On September 10, a volunteer team of 100 Nghe An youth union members arrived in Hai Phong city to help overcome the consequences of storm No. 3.
Faced with the chaotic scene after the storm, Nghe An volunteers quickly started cleaning up, helping people affected by the storm to soon stabilize their lives.
"The work is very hard, but we feel happy because we have contributed a small part to help the people of Hai Phong city stabilize their lives soon" - Head of the volunteer youth group - Deputy Secretary of Nghe An Provincial Youth Union Tran Linh shared.
Earlier on the evening of September 9, 100 volunteers from Nghe An province went to Hai Phong city to help overcome the consequences of storm No. 3.
Hai Phong city is located in the eye of storm number 3 (typhoon Yagi). After storm number 3 swept through, Hai Phong city suffered heavy damage. Many government offices and houses had their roofs blown off and were damaged. Many trees fell on the streets, and many public works were severely damaged.
Based on the actual situation and at the request of the Standing Committee of the Hai Phong City Youth Union to promptly support people to overcome the consequences of the storm, promote the spirit of mutual love and volunteerism of Nghe An youth, the Standing Committee of the Nghe An Provincial Youth Union decided to establish a Youth Volunteer Team to participate in supporting Hai Phong City to overcome the consequences of storm No. 3.
On the evening of September 9, 100 volunteers from Vinh City Youth Union, Nghi Loc District Youth Union, Dien Chau and Hoang Mai Town Youth Union, led by Mr. Tran Linh - Deputy Secretary of Nghe An Provincial Youth Union, set off for Hai Phong City. The volunteers brought many working tools to overcome the consequences of natural disasters.

Storm No. 3 (Storm Yagi) caused severe damage and impacts in many provinces in the Northern region.
