On July 1, Hai Phong City People's Committee organized the first city-level excellent grassroots security and order (ANTT) force contest, in 2026. Attending and directing the contest were delegates of the National Contest Organizing Committee - Colonel Nguyen Thanh Binh, Deputy Director of the Department of Building Movements to Protect National Security, Ministry of Public Security, Standing Deputy Head of the National Contest Organizing Committee.
City delegates included Mr. Vu Tien Phung - Vice Chairman of the City People's Committee; leaders of the City Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee, leaders of the Police; representatives of leaders of the City Department of Home Affairs, Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism, along with leaders and members of 11 Teams participating in the Contest including: Le Chan ward, Kinh Mon ward, An Phong ward, Le Thanh Nghi ward, Cam Giang commune, Ha Bac commune, Bac Thanh Mien commune, Vinh Am commune, Kien Hung commune, An Truong commune and Cat Hai special zone.
Colonel Nguyen Duc Thin, Deputy Director of the City Police, Head of the Organizing Committee of the Contest affirmed: The contest is organized to comprehensively assess the results of building, training, fostering legal knowledge, professional skills and situation handling ability of forces participating in protecting security and order at the grassroots level after the implementation period of the Law and guiding documents.
At the same time, creating a forum for forces to exchange, learn, exchange experiences, discover good practices and effective models, contributing to continuing to build forces that are increasingly regular and strong, meeting the requirements of tasks in the new situation. Through the Contest, the Steering Committee also wishes to widely spread the beautiful image of forces participating in protecting security and order at the grassroots level - people who are always close to the people, close to the people, and dedicated to serving the People; thereby raising awareness and responsibility of the entire political system and the whole society in building a people's security posture associated with a solid people's heart posture right from the grassroots level.
At the contest, 11 teams participating in the contest successively went through 3 competition sections (talent, knowledge, situation handling) all with elaborate investment and careful preparation in terms of knowledge, skills, bravery and form of expression; many creative competition sections closely linked to practical work, vividly reflecting the role of forces participating in protecting security and order at the grassroots level. The competition sections of the teams took place sôi nổi in the enthusiastic cheers and encouragement of a large audience.
Overall results, the Organizing Committee awarded 1 A prize to the team of Le Chan ward; 2 B prizes to the team of Le Thanh Nghi ward and Kien Hung commune; 3 C prizes to the teams of Vinh Am, Ha Bac communes and Cat Hai special zone; 5 consolation prizes; 1 excellent talent prize for the team of Ha Bac commune; 1 excellent situation prize for the team of Kinh Mon ward.
