The first set witnessed the overwhelming performance of the Vietnamese representative with a 25-11 victory. In set 2, U18 Taiwan (China) played more determinedly and created a tug-of-war, but U18 Vietnam still maintained stability to overcome and win 25-20.
In set 3, the game continued to lean towards U18 Vietnam. The attacking spearheads played evenly, coordinated effectively to close the match with a 25-15 victory, completing the opening match with a final score of 3-0.
The victory over U18 Taiwan (China) helps U18 Vietnam have a favorable start at the tournament, and at the same time create an advantage in the competition for a ticket to the quarter-finals.
