For provincial roads, some locations were flooded, many locations with fallen trees have been cleared, and some locations have had landslides on the yin-yang slopes.
In addition, 10 high and low voltage power poles were broken and some communication poles were affected.
Heavy rain caused the water level of Ky Cung River to rise, overflowing into the H1 pumping station in Gieng Vuong area, Lang Son city, causing the pumping station to stop working, affecting the water supply to about 1,000 households.
Along with that, the H9 pumping station in the Mai Pha airport area had a broken main pipe, clogged water treatment tank... leading to the plant only operating to supply water to 50% of households in the Mai Pha commune area with about 2,000 households.
Currently, Lang Son Water Supply and Drainage Joint Stock Company is urgently repairing affected pumping stations and factories to supply water to serve the people.
Up to now, according to information from the Lang Son Province Hydrometeorological Station, flood water levels in rivers continue to rise.
Accordingly, at 3:00 p.m. the same day, the water level on Bac Giang River at Van Mich hydrological station (Binh Gia) was 191.13 m, 1.13 m above alert level 3; Ky Cung River at Lang Son station was 254.5 m, 0.5 m above alert level 2; Trung River at Huu Lung station was 18.41 m, 0.41 m above alert level 2.
