On June 28, the People's Committee of Dong Nai province has just organized a plan to organize 32 bus routes to pick up and drop off about 1,400 cadres, civil servants, public employees and workers from Binh Phuoc to Dong Nai for work, and vice versa.
The bus routes will travel from Binh Phuoc Administrative Center to Dong Nai Administrative Center, with a distance of about 90 km, travel time of about 2 hours with a pick-up frequency of 2 trips/week; pick up from Binh Phuoc to Dong Nai on Monday morning and Friday afternoon in the opposite direction.
The vehicles expected to be high-quality contract vehicles with 29 to 45 seats, fully equipped with air conditioners, ensuring safety and being fully inspected; the cost of supporting this transportation and pick-up is about 8.6 billion VND from the state budget allocated to departments, branches and sectors for implementation.
On June 25, at the 29th Session, the People's Council of Dong Nai province, term X, 2021-2026, also approved a Resolution on policies to support officials of Binh Phuoc province to work in Dong Nai province after the reorganization.
The Resolution supports 3 contents, including:
Housing rental support is 1.5 million VND/month (for cases of accommodation in dormitories or collective housing). Support 2 million VND/month (for cases of social housing rental) and support 3 million VND/month (for cases of not being able to arrange accommodation and having to live on their own).
Meal allowance at the rate of 2 million VND/person/month;
Support for transportation costs (one time) at the rate of 3 million VND.
In case cadres, civil servants, public employees, and workers enjoy similar support policies of the province or ministry, industry, and equivalent, they will only enjoy the highest support policy.
The support period is 6 months from July 1, 2025. The estimated support budget is 99 billion VND from the Dong Nai provincial budget after the arrangement.
According to the Project to reorganize and reorganize administrative units, Binh Phuoc province and Dong Nai province will be merged into a new province called Dong Nai province, the Administrative-political Center will be located in the new Dong Nai province. After the merger, Dong Nai province has a natural area of 12,737 km2; a population of 4,427,700 people, 95 commune-level administrative units.
