The Party Committee of the Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee has just sent a document to the Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee regarding the settlement of early retirement benefits for cadres.
In particular, the Standing Committee of the Party Committee of the Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee proposed that the Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee direct the Department of Home Affairs to resolve 21 comrades who are allowed to retire early and quit their jobs according to regulations. At the same time, review and resolve salary regimes and allowances (if any).
In particular, many cadres who have been allowed to retire early and quit their jobs are between the ages of 45 and 55 (16 people); holding important positions such as Deputy Directors of departments, branches, and units; key leaders in some wards and communes such as: Chairman of Vung Tau Ward People's Committee; Chairman of Dat Do Commune People's Committee; Chairman of Binh Chau Commune People's Committee...
Previously, these officials had submitted applications for early retirement, retirement according to their wishes to submit to competent authorities for approval. And was submitted to the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee by the Organizing Committee for consideration. Therefore, the Standing Committee of the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee has approved the proposal of the Organizing Committee on the policy of early retirement and termination of employment for the above officials from September 1, 2025.
