Despite facing many difficulties due to the hilly terrain, the search and repatriation of martyrs' remains at Le Thi Rieng Park is still being accelerated by the forces. In the single day of August 7, the Repatriation Team (Ho Chi Minh City Command) discovered and exhumed 17 more sets of martyrs' remains in the tomb groove of Zone B, including 11 sets accompanied by artifacts.
To date, the entire force has collected a total of 227 sets of martyrs' remains. Of which, including 201 sets located separately and 26 sets belonging to 6 collective grave locations (2 locations in Zone A and 4 locations in Zone B).
Also on August 7, a delegation of the Party Committee and Command of Military Region 7 led by Lieutenant General Le Xuan The, Member of the Party Central Committee, Member of the Central Military Commission, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee, Commander of Military Region 7 and a working delegation directly came to the scene to inspect progress, offer incense and commemorate and give gifts to encourage forces performing their duties.

Leaders of Military Region 7 acknowledged the spirit of responsibility and efforts to overcome difficulties of the forces; at the same time, requested units to continue to closely coordinate, organize scientific and accurate searches with the highest determination to soon bring back the heroes and martyrs who sacrificed in the General Offensive and Uprising of Spring Mau Than 1968.
