Previously, on November 2, Member of the Standing Committee of the City Party Committee, Secretary of Ninh Kieu District Party Committee Nguyen Tien Phong signed the Decision to establish the Party organization.
According to the Decision, the Party Executive Committee decided to establish the Thoi Binh Ward Party Committee (on the basis of merging 4 wards of An Cu, An Nghiep, An Phu, Thoi Binh), term 2020 - 2025 under the Ninh Kieu District Party Committee.
Thoi Binh Ward Party Committee has 39 Party cells, 4 affiliated Party Committees and 2,044 Party members; has legal status, its own seal and account.
Appointed the Ward Party Committee Executive Committee consisting of 32 comrades. Appointed the Ward Party Committee Standing Committee consisting of 5 comrades: Lam Hong Thai, Nguyen Tuan Khai, Nguyen Thi Hong Nga, Tran Van Kien, Mai Van Hiep.
Appoint comrade Lam Hong Thai to hold the position of Secretary of the Thoi Binh Ward Party Committee. Appoint 4 Deputy Secretaries of the Thoi Binh Ward Party Committee: Nguyen Tuan Khai, Nguyen Thi Hong Nga, Tran Van Kien, Mai Van Hiep.
Speaking at the ceremony, Mr. Nguyen Tien Phong - Member of the Standing Committee of the City Party Committee, Secretary of the Ninh Kieu District Party Committee - said that the District Party Committee had a Resolution and had prepared and focused on taking care of the 4 wards for a long period of about 2 years. The Secretary of the Ninh Kieu District Party Committee acknowledged that the success of the ward merger was all thanks to the solidarity, determination, and overcoming difficulties of the whole collective.
Ninh Kieu District Party Secretary Nguyen Tien Phong also requested the Party Committee, immediately after receiving the decision, to start working, forming administrative, political and social organizations of the ward. Organize the transfer, handover and good management of documents and assets of the Party Committee, especially to do a good job of archiving in a scientific and methodical manner, avoiding affecting the rights of everyone.
To carry out its tasks well, the new Party Committee needs to quickly stabilize its organizational apparatus. Develop and promulgate working regulations; clearly assign tasks.
The Party Committee of the ward directed the organization of the People's Council meeting (on November 11), ensuring objectivity, compliance with current regulations, focusing on personnel at the Party Committee and government levels and quality associated with personnel preparation for the Congress.
In his acceptance speech, the new Secretary of Thoi Binh Ward, Lam Hong Thai, expressed his deep gratitude to the Standing Committee of the District Party Committee for trusting and assigning him the important responsibility of holding the position of Secretary of the Thoi Binh Ward Party Committee.
New Secretary Lam Hong Thai, on behalf of the Party Committee of Thoi Binh Ward, accepted all the instructions of the District Party Committee Secretary. The Party Committee of the Ward promised to always maintain solidarity and unity among cadres, continue to inherit and promote the achievements that have been made; lead the Party Committee, government and people to successfully complete the political tasks of the ward, especially quickly perfecting the organizations to operate in accordance with the Party's procedures, the State's policies and laws and the assigned service functions of each organization.
According to the Secretary of Ninh Kieu District Party Committee, at 9:00 a.m. on November 19, the People's Committee of Thoi Binh Ward will hold a ceremony to announce the new Thoi Binh Ward officially coming into operation.
