On October 16, Mr. Pham Van Thang - Chairman of Mang Den Commune People's Committee - quickly reported to the Department of Agriculture and Rural Development of Quang Ngai province about the death of 45 tons of sturgeon due to flash floods.

According to Mr. Thang, in the past, Mang Den commune has had prolonged heavy rain. On October 14 and 15, in Dak Tang village, Mang Den commune, a flood of pipes flooded and broken, breaking the water pipes into the sturgeon and sturgeon farming tanks of Dak Tang sturgeon and salmon cooperative and Mr. Tran Thanh Binh's sturgeon farm, killing about 45 tons of sturgeon. Property damage is about 7.7 billion VND.
