On October 16, at Tan An Industrial Cluster, Tan An Ward, Dak Lak Province, about 170 heavy-duty container trucks were arbitrarily gathered in long lines, causing disorder and damage to infrastructure.
According to research, in the past 4 days, due to incidents during the transportation of agricultural products for export, many container drivers from all over the country have brought their vehicles back to wait in Tan An Industrial Cluster.

On major roads inside the industrial cluster, container trucks lined up. To preserve frozen agricultural products, drivers are forced to have their vehicles start the engine continuously 24/7. The sound of the heavy-duty vehicle's engine caused a stir in the area.
Mr. Nguyen Chi Hai (container driver) shared: "I travel from the Mekong Delta to Dak Lak to buy agricultural products for export. However, during the transportation process, there were some unexpected incidents, so we had to temporarily stop and bring the vehicle to Tan An Industrial Cluster for parking. I am waiting for the business owner to process my export documents properly to be able to leave this area. Every day, the vehicle goes off the engine and cannot move, consuming about 50 liters of oil".

Mr. Nguyen Kim Tung - Director of Tan An Industrial Cluster Management Board (under Hong Linh Company, representative of the investor) - said: "According to preliminary statistics, there are currently about 170 container trucks carrying agricultural products parked inside the industrial cluster. Of which, there are only a few vehicles belonging to land lease enterprises here.
Most of the vehicles are gathered from outside, posing a potential risk of causing disorder. Since the industrial cluster came into operation, this is the first time such an incident has occurred. Faced with the above situation, the investor has notified the provincial police to send forces to coordinate in resolving the issue".

"We will coordinate with the authorities to handle the situation, while removing difficulties for drivers and businesses exporting agricultural products in and outside the locality. However, we also hope that drivers strictly comply with the regulations of the industrial cluster, avoid disrupting order and affecting general production activities, Mr. Tung emphasized.
