Storm No. 13 caused serious damage, killing 2 people and injuring 12 people; 1,035 houses were completely damaged, more than 7,750 houses were severely damaged, 8,073 houses were severely damaged, 32,833 houses were partially damaged and more than 10,322 houses were flooded.
92 boats were also completely damaged, 138 boats were damaged, 496 hectares of aquaculture area and 13,927 hectares of crops were severely affected.

Many residential areas, production facilities, traffic works, irrigation, education, healthcare, culture, telecommunications, electricity were damaged; trees, urban infrastructure, public works were broken and collapsed in large numbers, some places were almost completely destroyed. The whole province had widespread power outages, interrupted communication, traffic disruption, and people's lives were seriously affected.
In the face of the above situation, the People's Committee of Gia Lai province requested localities, agencies and units to mobilize maximum forces, means and resources to organize rescue, prioritizing the protection of people's lives and health.
Urgently assess the comprehensive damage, focus on repairing and restoring essential infrastructure such as transportation, irrigation, power grid, communications, schools, health stations, domestic water supply systems; soon stabilize life and production.
Organize temporary accommodation to ensure minimum living conditions for people who have lost their homes; support and encourage especially households that suffered heavy damage.
The Provincial People's Committee requested the Provincial Military Command, the Provincial Border Guard Command and the Provincial Police to mobilize means and human resources to support the emergency evacuation of people from dangerous areas; be ready for rescue when there are emergency situations; help people improve environmental management, prevent epidemics after storms and floods.
The Department of Agriculture and Environment focuses on stabilizing production and rural environment, monitoring environmental quality after storms and floods. Guiding people to restore agricultural production immediately after natural disasters.
The Department of Construction urgently restores the infrastructure system. Especially reviewing and assessing the status of traffic infrastructure works and directing the quick repair of damaged and landslide routes to ensure traffic.
The Fatherland Front Committee and mass organizations mobilized people to support and help each other overcome difficulties, and work with the government to soon bring life back to normal.

Consecutive storms and floods have caused many deaths, missing and injuries; many houses and production and business establishments have had their roofs blown off and suffered heavy damage.
