Accordingly, the Bac Ninh Provincial Citizen Reception Committee is a unit under the Office of the Bac Ninh Provincial People's Committee; has the function of advising the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee to receive citizens according to the provisions of law; directly managing the Citizen Reception Office and coordinating citizen reception activities of agencies participating in receiving citizens at the Provincial Citizen Reception Office; is the unit that receives and processes complaints, denunciations, recommendations, and reflections (hereinafter referred to as complaints and denunciations) sent by citizens to the Chairman, Vice Chairmen and the People's Committee of Bac Ninh province.
The 8 tasks and powers of the Bac Ninh Provincial Citizen Reception Committee include:
1. Organize citizen reception to complain and report at the Citizen reception Office.
2. Explain and guide citizens to exercise their rights and obligations to complain and denounce in accordance with procedures and regulations, to the right competent agencies, units and individuals to resolve; comply with the decision to resolve complaints and decisions to handle denunciations that have been resolved by competent agencies, organizations, units and individuals in accordance with policies and laws.
3. Classify and handle complaints, denunciations, recommendations and reflections.
4. Monitor and urge the settlement of complaints and denunciations.
5. Synthesize the situation and results of citizen reception work under the responsibility of the Provincial Citizen Reception Committee; of agencies and organizations participating in regular citizen reception at the Provincial Citizen Reception Office; periodically and suddenly report to the Provincial People's Committee and the Provincial Inspectorate.
6. Organize reception and handling of cases where many people have complained and denounced about the same content
7. Coordinate with the Provincial Inspectorate and relevant authorities to advise the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee
8. Perform a number of other tasks assigned by the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee.
