On July 14, at the Office of the Administrative Court of Ta Keo province, Kingdom of Cambodia, the Specialized Committee of An Giang province (Vietnam) and the Specialized Committee of Ta Keo province (Cambodia) organized a signing ceremony for the handover and reception of remains of volunteer soldiers and Vietnamese experts who sacrificed in the war periods and were gathered in Ta Keo province in the 2025–2026 dry season.
The delegation of the Specialized Committee of An Giang province was headed by Mr. Le Van Phuoc, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, Head of the Specialized Committee of the province; from Ta Keo province, Mr. Sut Khon, Deputy Governor, Deputy Head of the Specialized Committee of Ta Keo province, along with leaders of departments, branches, and armed forces of the two localities attended.
According to the signed minutes, the Task Force of Ta Keo province handed over to the Task Force of An Giang province 14 sets of remains of volunteer soldiers and Vietnamese experts to bring back to the country to organize a memorial service and burial.
Speaking at the ceremony, Mr. Le Van Phuoc respectfully thanked the Royal Government of Cambodia, the government, the Specialized Committee, the armed forces and the people of Ta Keo province for always coordinating and supporting Team K93 of An Giang province in the search and repatriation of martyrs' remains. Mr. Phuoc emphasized that although the war has receded, the search conditions are increasingly difficult, but with the help of the friendly side, Team K93 has completed its task well in the 2025–2026 dry season.
The Vice Chairman of An Giang Provincial People's Committee wished the Task Force and People of Ta Keo province to continue to provide information and create favorable conditions for forces performing tasks to search for and repatriate the remains of remaining martyrs, contributing to the good implementation of the military rear policy and the morality of "When drinking water, remember the source" of the Vietnamese nation.

Mr. Sut Khon, Deputy Governor, Deputy Head of the Task Force of Ta Keo province affirmed that the search, repatriation and repatriation of martyrs' remains is a deeply humane activity, showing the solidarity and friendship between Cambodia and Vietnam. He highly appreciated the efforts of Team K93 and the effective coordination between the two provinces over the years, and at the same time committed to continue directing functional agencies, armed forces and local authorities to coordinate and create favorable conditions for the search and repatriation of martyrs' remains to achieve higher results in the coming time.
The reception of 14 sets of martyrs' remains in Ta Keo province is the opening result of the set of receiving martyrs' remains in the 2025–2026 dry season, contributing to the effective implementation of the 500-day and night campaign to promote the search, repatriation and identification of martyrs' remains, showing the determination of An Giang province and Cambodian localities in the journey to bring heroic martyrs back to their motherland.
