On December 18, the People's Committee of Ba Ria - Vung Tau province announced that it had just issued a plan to organize activities to celebrate the Party and the Lunar New Year 2025 in the area.
In particular, organizing art programs and fireworks to welcome the New Year at 8 locations across the province, including: Front Beach area (Vung Tau city); Ba Ria Park Square (Ba Ria city); Phu My town stadium; Phuoc Buu town lakeside area (Xuyen Moc district); Tran Hung Dao extended road (Chau Duc district); 914 pier (Con Dao district).
Long Dat district (merged from Long Dien and Dat Do districts) will organize fireworks displays at 2 locations, which are the Cultural, Information and Sports Centers of the 2 previous districts. The funding source for the organization comes from socialization.
In addition, the province also organized a series of meaningful activities such as: propagating the 95th anniversary of the founding of the Communist Party of Vietnam (February 3, 1930 - February 3, 2025); organizing care for poor households, people in difficult circumstances, and lonely elderly people in the area; visiting and giving gifts to people with revolutionary contributions, policy families...
Spring Newspaper Festival activities; art programs celebrating the Party and Spring; sports activities (Lion-Unicorn-Dragon competitions; Kurash, Muay...); and focusing on environmental sanitation and urban beautification during the Lunar New Year.
In particular, the program "Ba Ria - Vung Tau Imprint 2024" will be held at 7:00 p.m. on January 28, 2025 at Ba Ria Park Square, serving a large number of people and tourists.
According to the Provincial People's Committee, the activities are organized to create a joyful and exciting atmosphere in the whole Party and people to celebrate the glorious Party and the Spring of At Ty 2025. At the same time, educate revolutionary traditions, arouse patriotism, promote the strength of national unity. Encourage all forces and people to actively study, work and produce, contributing to the successful implementation of socio-economic development goals and tasks... in the locality.
