According to information from the People's Committee of Bac Ninh province, on September 15, the flood water level on the Cau River had dropped below alert level 3, while the Thai Binh River had dropped below alert level 2.
Therefore, the Steering Committee for Natural Disaster Prevention and Search and Rescue of Bac Ninh province issued a telegram to withdraw the level 3 warning orders on Cau River and level 2 warning orders on Thai Binh River.
However, the Command still requires relevant sectors, units and local command boards such as Tien Du, Yen Phong, Que Vo, Bac Ninh to continue to send people to patrol and guard the dike to promptly handle incidents, especially the construction system on the left and right dikes of Duong.
According to the latest report of the People's Committee of Bac Ninh province, storm No. 3 and the storm's circulation caused heavy rain and floods, causing severe damage to the province.
The total value of damage to agricultural production, infrastructure and investment in repairing dike systems and irrigation works is about 1,000 billion VND.
Also on September 15, Bac Ninh Provincial Party Secretary Nguyen Anh Tuan sent a letter of thanks to the armed forces, agencies, businesses and people in preventing storm No. 3.
The Secretary of the Bac Ninh Provincial Party Committee called on the military, police, youth union members, members of socio-political organizations, the business community and all people to continue to support human resources and means to overcome the consequences of storms and floods with the utmost urgency, ensuring that people's lives and labor, production and business return to normal.
Mr. Nguyen Anh Tuan also acknowledged the hardships, spirit of bravery and dedication of the team of reporters from central and local press agencies who were present in a timely manner to report on the devastating consequences, difficulties and losses of the people, as well as the efforts of the Party committees and authorities at all levels in rescue, care for the people and overcome the consequences of natural disasters.
