At 4:00 p.m. on December 1, the center of the storm was at about 14.3 degrees north latitude; 111.5 degrees east longitude, in the northwest sea of the central East Sea, about 260km east of the east coast of Gia Lai-Dak Lak province. The storm gradually weakened, with an intensity of level 8, gusting to level 11.

At 4:00 p.m. on December 2, the center was at about 13.3 degrees north latitude; 110.5 degrees east longitude, in the sea from Gia Lai to Khanh Hoa, about 150km east of the east coast of Gia Lai-Dak Lak provinces.
The intensity of the tropical depression is about level 6-7, gusting to level 9. The danger zone is from 12 to 15.5 degrees north latitude; west of the 112 degrees east longitude. Level 3 natural disaster risk for the northwest sea area between the East Sea and the sea area from Gia Lai to Khanh Hoa.
It is forecasted that in the next 72 hours, the tropical depression will move west-southwest at a speed of 5-10km/h, weakening into a low pressure area. At 4:00 p.m. on December 3, the center was at about 12.3 degrees north latitude; 109.2 degrees east longitude, in the coastal area from Gia Lai to Khanh Hoa. Intensity below level 6.
At sea, the northwest sea area of the central East Sea will have strong winds of level 7; the area near the storm's eye will have strong winds of level 8-9, gusts of level 11. Waves 2-4m high, the area near the storm's eye will have strong winds of 4-6m; the sea will be very rough.
