Previously, as Lao Dong Newspaper reported, recently a wild monkey has continuously appeared in the area of group 7 - Quyet Tam, To Hieu ward, causing concern for people.
According to reports, the monkey weighs about 15 - 20kg, often goes down to crowded areas, climbs trees, roofs, vehicles parked along the road and enters the garden to find food.

Notably, this individual once appeared near the gate of Quyet Tam Elementary School at the time students finished school, showing signs of being rash and posing a potential safety risk.
In addition to destroying crops and fruit trees, the monkey also bit and damaged 5 car tires of people. Some pets such as dogs and chickens around the area were also attacked.

Functional forces also advise people when detecting wild animals appearing in residential areas not to arbitrarily drive them away, hunt or keep them in captivity; and promptly notify local authorities or functional agencies for safe and proper handling.
