On September 22, the People's Committee of Tien Minh commune received a report from the Tien Minh commune police about an abandoned newborn baby whose identity has not been determined. At 10:00 p.m. on September 19, Ms. Luong Thi H discovered an abandoned baby in front of the gate of Phuc Khanh Pagoda, in Ky Vy Ha village, Tien Minh commune. Through a preliminary check-up by the commune health workers, the baby was male, about 5 months old, weighed about 5 kg, was in normal health, had no fever, no subcutaneous bleeding, no deformities, or birth defects.
The baby was left with a piece of paper with the words "Due to the condition that the baby could not be raised, I would like to ask the temple to help raise him. The baby was born on April 20, 2025". Currently, the People's Committee of Tien Minh commune has assigned Ms. Luong Thi H (representative of Phuc Khanh pagoda) - the person who discovered the baby to temporarily take care of and raise the baby.
Based on the provisions of law, the People's Committee of Tien Minh commune announced that anyone who is the biological father, mother or favorite relative of the baby should come to the People's Committee of Tien Minh commune to complete the procedures to receive the baby back. Within 7 consecutive days from September 22 to September 28, if there is no information about the biological father, mother, or favorite relatives of the baby, the People's Committee of Tien Minh commune will carry out birth registration procedures and other related procedures according to the provisions of law.
