The life of a father with much pain and loss
In recent days, the atmosphere of Nam Muoi village, Son Luong commune, Lao Cai province has seemed to decay, submerged in sadness when the funeral of the two young children, brothers, took place at the same time.
The people here are still in pain after the tragic accident that occurred on the afternoon of September 19 at the gate of Nam Muoi Boarding Secondary School for Ethnic Minorities.
People in Nam Muoi village said that Ban Phuc L (born in 2017) and Ban Phuc Tr (born in 2020) are very easy-going, understanding, and still help their parents go to work, cook rice, and clean the house every day.

"The story of Mr. Ban Ton Cau (born in 1999 - Father of 2 young grandchildren) is very heartbreaking. The brother passed away 10 years ago, the father also passed away 5 years ago, now the two sons have died. The incident was so heartbreaking, the villagers all came to encourage and share with the family," said Ms. Ban Thi Liu - a neighbor.

Located deep in a small alley (about 500m from the school gate), the wooden house of Mr. Coi and Ms. Ban Thi Lieu (born in 2001), simple, has no valuable items.
On the altar, the place where the props were placed did not display a photo of L and Tr, leaving only 2 bowls of incense and some old toys that were still in the womb of the two children.
Sharing with reporters, Mr. Ban Ton Coi said that until now, the couple could not sleep, every time they saw their two children's photos, tears fell...
The young father said that his life has gone through many pains and losses. To overcome this, he always thinks about his family, wife, children and the elderly mother who is taking care of him.
"I lost my two children, in a very heartbreaking pain, the efforts and efforts before now are like pouring rivers and tanks," Mr. Duoc choked up.
Hopefully the authorities will soon clarify
With a damaged face and red eyes, Ms. Ban Thi Lieu (Mr. Coi's wife) said that on the afternoon of September 19, L and Tr said they wanted to eat fish, so the couple went to the pond to catch fish. The two children asked for permission to go out with the teacher to the school area to see the excavator constructing the nearby embankment.

When they arrived, a group of friends playing there invited her to the school, and the two asked her to stay and play with them. Here, everyone climbed onto the school's iron gate to swing, when one of the pillars suddenly collapsed, the two older brothers and sisters luckily slipped out and were slightly injured. L and Tr were hit by a brick wall that fell down.
"While fishing, seeing people shouting about an accident at the school gate, the couple quickly ran out. When arriving, L lay under the rubble and died. Seeing people say that Tr was taken to the commune infirmary for emergency care, the couple ran to the infirmary, but still could not have time to see their child for the last time," Ms. Lieu said sadly.
Ms. Lieu and Mr. khach commented that not long ago, a truck reversed into a pillar that could shake the pillar, and the school gate was built a long time ago, partly due to deterioration, leading to the heartbreaking incident above.

In a house where 3 generations live, which is bustling with the laughter of children every day, quiet at times, leaving only sadness and great loss when the rich leader leaves the rich leader.
Mrs. Ban Thi Cau (born in 1977, grandmother) sadly spoke up, her husband passed away, and her children, now that they are children, the pain of losing each loved one cannot be erased.
According to Ms. khach, the family's biggest wish is to clarify the cause, responsibility as well as the quality of the project soon so that the two children can leave peacefully.

Regarding the above incident, Mr. Pham Nguyen Binh, Chairman of Son Luong Commune People's Committee, said: The school and school gate were built and put into use around 2011, and some items and works have shown signs of deterioration.
"Currently, the locality is continuing to review all facilities of schools in the area to promptly detect and overcome unsafe risks, in order to prevent similar unfortunate accidents from occurring," said the leader of Son Luong commune.
