According to information from Highway Traffic Control Patrol Team No. 1 (Team 1, Traffic Police Department), the unit has just issued a fine of up to 35 million VND to a car driver driving in the wrong direction on the Noi Bai - Lao Cai highway.
Through the surveillance camera system on the Noi Bai - Lao Cai highway, the authorities discovered a car with license plate 19A- 444.XX going in the wrong direction on the highway at Km48 +700 (direction Lao Cai - Hanoi).

It is known that the driver of the car going in the wrong direction was Mr. N.V.Q. (born in 1974, residing in Phu Tho province). When he was about 30m from IC 7, he realized he had gone the wrong way and turned the car around.
According to Mr. Q., he himself realized that his behavior was wrong and could cause accidents for other vehicles.
Highway Traffic Control Patrol Team No. 1 has issued a fine to driver N.V.Q. for driving in the wrong direction on the highway. For this violation, according to Decree 168/2024, driver Q. will be fined 35 million VND and have 10 points deducted from his driving license.
