On December 9, the People's Council of Can Tho City, term X, 2021-2026, held its 18th session (regular session at the end of 2024) to review personnel work and a number of issues under the authority of the City People's Council. At the session, delegates voted to elect the position of Vice Chairman of the Can Tho City People's Committee.
With more than 96% of the delegates' votes in agreement, Ms. Nguyen Thi Ngoc Diep - Secretary of Thot Not District Party Committee - was elected to hold the position of Vice Chairman of Can Tho City People's Committee for the 2021-2026 term.
Ms. Nguyen Thi Ngoc Diep was born in 1974, hometown Thoi Binh district, Ca Mau province, has a BA in English, University of Law, and Advanced Politics.
Before holding the position of Vice Chairwoman of Can Tho City People's Committee, Ms. Ngoc Diep was a specialist of Can Tho City People's Committee Office; Deputy Head of the Department of Culture - Internal Affairs, Head of the Department of Internal Affairs - Legislation, Can Tho City People's Committee Office; Deputy Chief of Office of Can Tho City People's Committee; Deputy Chief Inspector of Can Tho City; Director of Can Tho Department of Foreign Affairs; Secretary of Thot Not District Party Committee.
Ms. Ngoc Diep would like to thank the leaders of the City Party Committee, People's Council, People's Committee and delegates of the City People's Council for their trust and confidence in assigning her the task of Vice Chairman of the City People's Committee for the 2021-2026 term.
