On the morning of December 2, Can Tho City People's Committee held a conference to announce the Decision of the Chairman of the City People's Committee on personnel work.
Previously, on November 29, Chairman of Can Tho City People's Committee Tran Viet Truong signed a Decision on the transfer and appointment of Mr. Vo Hong Lam to the position of Deputy Director of the Department of Education and Training.
According to the Decision, the Chairman of Can Tho City People's Committee decided to transfer Mr. Vo Hong Lam - Head of Ninh Kieu District Education and Training Department - to hold the position of Deputy Director of the Department of Education and Training, for a period of 5 years from the date of signing.
Speaking at the ceremony, the new Deputy Director of the Department of Education and Training of Can Tho City, Vo Hong Lam, expressed his gratitude to the city leaders and Ninh Kieu district leaders for training and educating him during his time at work; at the same time, thanked the leaders of all levels of the organization for trusting and appointing him to the new position.
Mr. Vo Hong Lam realizes that the new position is a great honor and also a heavy responsibility for the industry as well as the expectations of the city's leaders. He hopes to receive support from leaders at all levels and the leadership, civil servants and public employees of the Department of Education and Training to help him fulfill his tasks well in the coming time.
“I promise to always strive to complete all assigned tasks, together with the leadership of the city Department of Education and Training and civil servants in the agency, strive to unite to fulfill well the political tasks assigned by the Party and the State,” Mr. Lam added.
Speaking at the conference, Mr. Nguyen Thuc Hien - Vice Chairman of Can Tho City People's Committee - on behalf of the city People's Committee leaders congratulated Mr. Vo Hong Lam on being appointed as Deputy Director of the city's Department of Education and Training.
According to Mr. Hien, this transfer is very meaningful, aiming to perfect the leadership and management position in the field of education and training of the city's Department of Education and Training; at the same time, well implementing the spirit of the Politburo's conclusion on continuing to implement the Resolution of the Party Central Committee on comprehensive innovation to improve the quality of education and training; especially, contributing to making the city's education and training sector the top in the Mekong Delta region.
Mr. Nguyen Thuc Hien requested the new Deputy Director of the Department of Education and Training of the city to join hands with the Board of Directors of the Department of Education and Training to immediately carry out their work to grasp the field of education and training. He requested the Director of the Department of Education and Training, the Board of Directors and all cadres, civil servants and public employees in the education and training sector to be extremely united and dedicated to making the city's education and training sector develop more and more sustainably; especially to help the new Deputy Director of the Department of Education and Training carry out his duties in the coming time.
