On August 20, the Lam Dong Provincial People's Committee Party Committee held the 1st Congress of Delegates for the 2025 - 2030 term. The Congress was attended by members of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of Lam Dong Provincial Party Committee Thanh Y Ha Nie Kcem and 300 official delegates representing 12,454 Party members of 66 Party institutions under the Provincial People's Committee.
Speaking at the congress, Member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of Lam Dong Provincial Party Committee Y Thanh Ha Nie K dam acknowledged and commended the initial achievements of the Lam Dong Provincial People's Committee Party Committee after more than 1 month of establishment and operation with the new model.
The Lam Dong Provincial People's Committee Party Committee has the largest number of Party members in the entire Provincial Party Committee, with a team of highly qualified experts, many of whom hold important positions in the locality.
Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee Y Thanh Ha Nie K dam suggested that the Party Committee of Lam Dong Provincial People's Committee soon stabilize the organizational apparatus, improve the personnel of grassroots Party organizations, build a collective of responsibility, solidarity, and unity in awareness and action.
The Lam Dong Provincial Party Secretary also suggested that the Lam Dong Provincial People's Committee proactively and flexibly carry out work to speed up the progress of major and key projects such as: Bao Loc - Lien Khuong Expressway Project; North - South Expressway Project in the West, Gia Nghia - Chon Thanh section; coastal routes; infrastructure projects for industrial parks and tourism; mineral exploitation and processing projects.
Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Secretary of the Party Committee of Lam Dong Provincial People's Committee, Chairman of Lam Dong Provincial People's Committee Ho Van Muoi said that this congress is of special significance. This is the first congress of the Provincial People's Committee Party Committee after merging 3 Provincial People's Committee Party Committees (Lam Dong, Dak Nong, Binh Thuan).
The Congress clearly demonstrated the spirit of innovation, unified the will, action and high political determination of all cadres, party members, civil servants, public employees and workers in the entire Party Committee of the Provincial People's Committee.
According to the Secretary of the Lam Dong Provincial People's Committee Party Committee, the congress focused on discussing and seriously and objectively evaluating the results of the past term; approving the Resolution and the Action Program to implement the Resolution of the Provincial People's Committee Party Congress for the 2025 - 2030 term.
After the congress, the new Provincial People's Committee Party Executive Committee will soon issue an action program and plan to implement the resolution, focusing on implementing 5 key groups of tasks.
The tasks include building a clean and strong Party Committee; focusing on socio-economic development; building a Vietnamese culture imbued with national identity, preserving and promoting Lam Dong cultural identity, associated with tourism development; building a national defense; effectively and substantially implementing the Resolution, avoiding formality.
