Supplementing a series of no-parking signs in Vung Tau and surrounding areas

Ho Chi Minh City - Functional agencies have installed a series of additional no-parking signs to overcome inadequacies and ensure traffic safety in the Vung Tau area.

On July 3, the Economic, Infrastructure and Urban Department of Vung Tau ward (Ho Chi Minh City) said that the Ho Chi Minh City Department of Construction has just issued a document approving the proposal to assign the Traffic Management and Technical Infrastructure Center to implement and overcome traffic safety inadequacies on roads in Vung Tau, Tam Thang, Rach Dua and Phuoc Thang wards.

Previously, before the proposal of the locality and through coordination of actual inspection and review, it was recorded that the situation of stopping and parking cars on both sides of the road on some roads in this area is still common. This makes many road surface positions no longer ensure the width for operation, narrowing traffic lanes. Especially, during peak hours, there is a potential risk of congestion and traffic unsafety.

To overcome the above-mentioned inadequacies, the Traffic Management and Technical Infrastructure Center proposes to install no-parking signs; no-parking on even and odd days, according to time frames in many sections and routes; and paint additional zigzag lines at some traffic light intersections to allow motorbikes to turn right continuously.

For example, Vo Thi Sau street is installed with "No parking" signs on even and odd days on both traffic directions; Nguyen Thai Hoc street (section from Nguyen An Ninh to Nguyen Tri Phuong) installs "No parking" signs on both traffic directions, arranged on the median strip to apply to the car lane.

Nguyen An Ninh street installed a "No parking" sign with auxiliary signs according to the time frame on the section from 2/9 street to Truong Cong Dinh street; installed a "No parking" sign on even and odd days on the section from 30/4 street to Le Loi street. At the same time, painted grid markings at many intersections.

Road 30/4 (section from Nguyen Huu Canh street to Eo Ong Tu intersection) installs "No parking" signs in both directions of traffic during hours.

Hoang Hoa Tham street installs "No parking" signs on both traffic directions on Saturdays, Sundays and holidays on the section from Xo Viet Nghe Tinh street to alley 119; installs "No parking" signs on even and odd days on both traffic directions in the remaining sections.

Truong Cong Dinh street (section from Tran Dong street to Luong The Vinh street) installs "No parking" signs on even and odd days.

National Highway 51B (Bui Thien Ngo, 2/9 street, Vo Nguyen Giap) installs "No parking" signs on both traffic directions, arranged on the median strip to apply to the car lane on the section from Nguyen An Ninh to Dat Phuc Driver Testing Center; installs "No stopping and parking" signs on both traffic directions, arranged on the median strip to apply to the car lane on the section from Dat Phuc Driver Testing Center to Eo Ong Tu.

Currently, the above-mentioned roads have all been deployed to install traffic signs to overcome inadequacies and ensure traffic safety in this area.
