Overpass connecting the mainland with Hon Khoai Island
This is a project built along with the Ca Mau - Dat Mui expressway and Hon Khoai Dual-use General Port, which just started construction on August 19. Of which, the main bridge is 17.3km long, the branch bridge to the island is 0.87km long, the bridge surface is 16.5m wide.
Information from the construction unit said: The foundation structure is mainly bored piles, the deep water area uses steel pipe piles; the bridge girder combines reinforced concrete and alloy steel, in which the boat span uses a steel arch structure with an aperture of 150m. The project was constructed by the 12th Corps, Ministry of National Defense, with a total capital of more than VND 25,700 billion, expected to be completed by the end of 2028.
