This morning (8.30), at the historic Ba Dinh Square (Hanoi), the Central Steering Committee for the Commemoration of Major Holidays held a State-level rehearsal of the Commemoration Ceremony, parade, and parade to celebrate the 80th anniversary of the August Revolution (August 19, 1945 - August 19, 2025) and the National Day of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam (September 2, 1945 - September 2, 2025).
The rehearsal session is equivalent to an official ceremony, consisting of two parts: Performing rituals and rituals of the Party and State and parading and parading.
The opening of the parade and parade was the Arms of the heroic Vietnam People's Air Force flying in the sky of the Fatherland.
Leading the Helicopters of Mi-171, Mi-17, Mi 8, carrying the Party and Fatherland flags flying on the historic Ba Dinh Square, symbolizing the strength of great solidarity and pride of the Party and the nation, demonstrating the bravery, intelligence, and aspiration to build a country to take off and rise in the new era.


In this flight formation, there is a Casa C-295 and C212i transport aircraft formation - "silent warriors", taking charge of combat, reconnaissance, transportation, search and rescue. Each flight is a combination of the spirit of steel and modern technology, affirming the bravery, intelligence, and fighting power of the heroic Vietnam People's Air Force.
Next are the Yak-130 and L-39NG formations flying over Ba Dinh Square. These are modern multi-purpose training aircraft, operating in all weather conditions, day and night, performing training, reconnaissance and attack to destroy targets in the air, on land and at sea. The presence of Yak-130 and L-39NG affirms their combat capability and the power to protect national sovereignty.
Also flying in the Square is the Su-30MK2 formation (also known as the tiger carrying the lord) - the pride and main strength of the Vietnam People's Air Force. This is a modern multi-purpose ultrasound fighter, operating in all weather conditions, strictly controlling airspace, effectively attacking targets in the air, on land, and at sea, and is a "steel shield" to firmly protect the sky, sea, border, and islands of the Fatherland.


With the motto "taking less to beat more, taking high quality to beat the majority", with the spirit of extraordinary courage, intelligence, and creativity, the Air Force "comes in action to bring victory back", defeats the enemy, and fully complies with Uncle Ho's teaching to "open the front without success".
Today, the Vietnam People's Air Force continues to clearly affirm its core role on the air front, ready to fight, firmly protecting the Fatherland's sky in all situations.
