AI cameras are increasingly effective

In recent years, surveillance camera systems have become an indispensable tool in managing security and environmental sanitation, especially in urban areas.

Major cities, such as Hanoi, have widely deployed surveillance camera systems to enhance efficiency in maintaining public order and security, and protecting the environment. The use of cameras not only helps detect and handle violations quickly but also contributes to changing people's awareness and behavior.

According to a report from the Hanoi City Police, on January 25 alone, up to 332 cases of violations of urban order and environmental sanitation were detected. Among these, up to 51 violations were detected thanks to the surveillance camera system. This proves that surveillance cameras are playing a strong role in detecting violations that may be difficult when only relying on direct observation from functional forces.

Urban order is always one of the urgent issues in big cities, especially in Hanoi, where there is a high population density and dense traffic. Sidewalk encroachment, parking in the wrong places, or other violations make the urban face become messy and unsightly. Surveillance camera systems, especially in key areas, have helped detect and handle these violations quickly and effectively.

In Hanoi's report, inner-city wards such as Van Mieu - Quoc Tu Giam, Hoan Kiem, and Dong Da recorded many violations of urban order, mainly related to encroachment on sidewalks, illegal parking and displaying goods to occupy roads. Thanks to cameras, functional forces can record images and information about violations as soon as they occur, thereby promptly handling and deterring violators.

One of the equally important issues is environmental sanitation, especially in public areas. Behaviors such as littering indiscriminately, throwing waste in the wrong places are the causes of urban areas becoming polluted and unsanitary. The installation of cameras at environmental pollution hotspots has helped monitor and detect these wrongdoings effectively.

There were 5 cases of environmental sanitation violations recorded on January 25, partly thanks to the support of the camera system. The images from the camera not only help functional agencies handle violations but are also tools to propagate and educate the community about environmental protection awareness. People when seeing surveillance cameras will be more aware of complying with environmental sanitation regulations, thereby building a civilized, clean, and safer living environment for everyone.
