On August 17, information from Nghe An Provincial People's Committee said that Nghe An Oncology Hospital (Vinh Hung Ward) has just been chosen by the Prime Minister as a direct bridge point for the inauguration ceremony, starting construction of 250 key and typical projects and works nationwide, scheduled to take place on the morning of August 19.
The program aims to celebrate the 80th anniversary of the successful August Revolution and National Day September 2, an important political and economic event, creating momentum for the country's development in the new period.
The Nghe An Oncology Hospital project has a total investment of VND 1,259 billion, with a scale of 1,000 beds, classified as a group A project, a level 1 project, one of the key medical projects in the North Central region.
Address of the new hospital's facility at Km456, National Highway 1A, Nghi Lien Commune, Vinh City.
The project started in January 2023, with the goal of providing a spacious and convenient examination and treatment space for patients.
Nghe An Oncology Hospital was established in 2010. From a scale of 50 beds, the hospital has now developed to more than 1,000 practical beds with a team of more than 1,100 staff, including many leading experts.
The hospital has successfully deployed 694/814 high-level, specialized techniques that could previously only be performed in central hospitals, such as endoscopic surgery, NGS testing to personalize treatment, application of targeted treatment, immunotherapy, modern radiotherapy and other advanced intervention techniques.
The hospital has also invested heavily in advanced medical technologies such as MRI 1.5 Tesla, CLVT 128 slices, Magio robot, endoscopic ultrasound system, mobile biochemical testing and immunohistochemical testing... In particular, put into use the Synergy Platform and Precise radiotherapy system, the most modern SPECT/CT system in the North Central region, helping to treat, detect early and effectively monitor cancer damage.
In addition, administrative reform and digital transformation are also being promoted. From July 2024, Nghe An Oncology Hospital is the first oncology hospital in the country to successfully deploy electronic medical records, booking online examination schedules, helping to optimize the medical examination and treatment process.
