According to the updated news at 11:00 a.m. the same day, storm No. 10 made landfall in the Nghe An - Central Laos border area, with the strongest wind near the storm center at level 8 (62-74 km/h), gusting to level 10.
The storm is moving west-northwest at a speed of about 20 km/h and gradually weakening into a tropical depression, then a low pressure area in the Upper Laos area.
Due to the impact of storm No. 10, the northern area of the Gulf of Tonkin (including Van Don, Co To, Cat Hai, Hon Dau) and the sea area from Thanh Hoa to Ha Tinh (including Hon Ngu) will have strong winds of level 6-7, gusts of level 9, waves 2-4m high, and rough seas.
The coastal areas from Quang Ninh to Nghe An will have storm surge of 0.4-0.6m, with the risk of flooding in low-lying coastal areas, along rivers combined with high tides and big waves in the afternoon and afternoon of September 29.
On land, the area from Ninh Binh to North Ha Tinh will have strong winds of level 6-7, gusting to level 8-9, near the storm center level 8, gusting to level 10.
