On the morning of July 22, the Fire and Rescue Police Department of Khanh Hoa Provincial Police said that the unit had successfully rescued a driver trapped in the cabin after a container truck overturned on Khanh Le Pass.
Initial information, at about 4 am on the same day, on Khanh Le pass, Km44+400 section passing through Son Thai village, Nam Khanh Vinh commune, a traffic accident occurred.
Accordingly, driver H.D. D (born 1989), driving a truck with license plate 49H-045... pulling a trailer with license plate 49RM-003... carrying an assistant driver named N.V.D, (born 1995, also residing in Thanh Hoa province) moving from Lam Dong to Hanoi City.
When reaching the Km44 QL27C bend in Son Thai village, Nam Khanh Vinh commune, the driver suddenly lost control, causing the car to overturn and fall to the left side of the road in the direction of movement.
The accident trapped the driver in the cabin and he could not escape on his own.
Immediately after receiving the news, the Fire and Rescue Police Department mobilized dozens of officers and soldiers along with specialized vehicles and equipment to the scene to deploy rescue operations.
Rescue forces used specialized equipment to break down the cabin door, approach and bring the victims out.
After many hours of rescue work, the driver was successfully rescued and taken to the hospital for emergency treatment.
The cause of the accident is being investigated and clarified by functional agencies.
