Recently, Lao Dong Newspaper reflected on the situation of the rural road Na Sam - Ban No in Van Ban commune being unfinished for many years, causing difficulties for people's travel and transportation of agricultural products, local authorities have had feedback related to the project implementation process.
According to reporters' records in mid-July, for many years, the road has seriously deteriorated.
Every time it rains, the road surface is muddy, slippery, and dusty in the dry season, making it difficult for people to travel.

Therefore, people have repeatedly petitioned local authorities and press agencies, hoping that the project will be completed soon.
On July 20, in an exchange with Lao Dong Newspaper, Mr. Vu Xuan Thuy - Chairman of Van Ban Commune People's Committee said that after receiving the dossier from the old administrative unit, the commune is focusing on reviewing the entire project implementation process to have a handling plan and soon bring the project back to construction.
According to Mr. Thuy, the construction team had previously been advanced about 700 million VND, the value of the implemented volume was about 468 million VND. The socialization of labor reached about 70 million VND, while 38 households contributed about 29 million VND.
Currently, the commune is inviting all relevant components to work to agree on a plan to continue deploying the road construction. The project dossier has been received by the commune and will direct drastically to do it at all costs," Mr. Thuy said.

According to the leader of Van Ban Commune People's Committee, one of the current difficulties is that the capital support mechanism has changed after arranging administrative units.
Previously, the project had some financial support from the district level, but currently the district-level government model is no longer there, so the commune must proactively balance and find solutions to allocate the remaining capital.
Although there are still many difficulties, the commune's point of view is to implement it to ensure that people have convenient roads to travel," Mr. Thuy affirmed.

Meanwhile, Mr. Trieu Van Hiep - Head of Giang village said that what people want most at this time is for the road to be completed soon after many years of waiting.
When there was an investment policy, people were very supportive, donating land, contributing funds because everyone wanted to have a spacious road to travel. Up to now, the project is still unfinished, so people are very anxious," Mr. Hiep shared.
According to Mr. Hiep, besides hoping that the project will be restarted soon, people are still concerned about the quality of the road section that was constructed before as well as the progress of the project.
Therefore, people request functional agencies to inspect and clarify the contents that have been reflected, ensuring that the project is constructed in accordance with the design, quality and uses investment capital effectively.
Previously, people in Giang village reflected that the Na Sam - Ban No road was approved for investment in 2023, with a length of about 1.67km, a total cost of nearly 2 billion VND, but after nearly 3 years, only about 200m was constructed and then stopped.
The prolonged construction not only affects living and production but also causes people to repeatedly petition to clarify the reasons for the slow progress and concerns related to construction quality.
According to Van Ban Commune People's Committee, after completing the review of dossiers, comparing volumes, working with relevant parties and removing financial obstacles, the locality will reorganize construction, striving to complete the road soon, meeting the expectations of the people.
