On December 27, Hoa Phu Commune People's Committee, Dak Lak province said that commune leaders were present at the scene of the house fire that killed 4 people to grasp the situation, have directions to support and take care of funeral arrangements for the deceased victims.
According to Hoa Phu Commune People's Committee, a 1-month-old baby was lucky to survive the fire and is being treated at Tay Nguyen Regional General Hospital (Dak Lak province). Police are examining the scene to investigate and clarify the cause of the fire.
When the fire occurred, there were many flammable materials in the house, so the fire broke out very quickly. Right at the time of the fire, people around rescued but could not break the iron door but had to drill the wall. Fortunately, the one-year-old child luckily survived but suffered burns to the head and neck.
As Lao Dong newspaper reported, at about 2:55 am on the same day, a fire broke out at a house located on National Highway 14 (Doan Ket village, Hoa Phu commune). Upon receiving the news, functional forces quickly arrived to put out the fire, rescue and relief.
However, because the house was selling electrical and plumbing appliances, and there were many flammable plastic materials inside, the fire spread quickly and flared up fiercely.
According to initial information, the fire killed 4 victims including: T.T.T.N (born in 1997), H.K.D (born in 1990), H.B.H (born in 2017) and H.B.L (born in 2021).
