At noon on December 5, Vice Chairman of the Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee Tran Van Bay and representatives of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Ho Chi Minh City and the Ho Chi Minh City Police visited Gia Dinh People's Hospital ( facility 1) to visit and encourage the victims of the fire at the snail noodle shop on Tran Hung Dao Street (Cau Ong Lanh Ward).

Dr. Nguyen Hoang Hai, Director of Gia Dinh People's Hospital, said about the current status of the two victims being treated. According to Mr. Hai, the two victims suffered broken collarbone, shoulder and ribs along with respiratory burns.
Initial diagnosis through bronchial endoscopy confirmed the burns, and one of the two cases also had additional emphysema. Currently, the patient's health is stable and he has been transferred to the ICU for more in-depth monitoring and treatment.
According to the reporter's records, the 4-storey house at the scene is both a business and a place of activity for many family members and restaurant staff.



As of noon of the same day, Ho Chi Minh City Police's professional units were still coordinating with Cau Ong Lanh Ward Police to block off and examine the scene of the restaurant fire on Tran Hung Dao Street.

The incident occurred at more than 4:00 a.m. the same day, a fire suddenly broke out at a 4-storey house for rent at a restaurant on Tran Hung Dao Street, Cau Ong Lanh Ward. Discovering the fire, local residents shouted and tried to put out the fire but failed.
Upon receiving the report, Cau Ong Lanh Ward Police coordinated with the Fire Fighting and Rescue Team of Area 1 (under the Fire Prevention and Rescue Police Department of Ho Chi Minh City Police) to put out the fire and rescue people.



Gia Dinh People's Hospital said it is continuing to support, closely monitor the situation of the two survivors and coordinate with the authorities in handling the case. The unit has reported the incident to the Ho Chi Minh City Department of Health.
