At about 2 pm on September 7, during patrol and control, officers and soldiers of Binh Hung Border Guard Station - Binh Ba Border Guard Station (Khanh Hoa Provincial Border Guard) discovered a raft of Mr. Huynh Tan Phong (born in 1978, residing in Binh Hung village, Nam Cam Ranh commune) catching fire.
Immediately after discovering the incident, officers and soldiers of Binh Hung Border Guard Station quickly approached the scene.
At the same time, coordinating with Bai Kinh Border Guard Station - Vinh Hai Border Guard Station to mobilize forces, vehicles and local people to participate in firefighting.
With urgency, by about 2:40 pm on the same day, the fire was completely extinguished. Functional forces promptly controlled it, preventing the fire from spreading to neighboring areas.
The fire did not cause any casualties. According to initial records, about 30% of the wooden floor area of the raft was damaged. All corrugated iron roof supports, tables and chairs, and some items on the raft were burned down.
Currently, functional agencies are statistically analyzing damage, and at the same time verifying and clarifying the cause of the fire.
