At noon on September 6th, the Fire and Rescue Police Department (Hanoi City Police) said that they had mobilized forces to extinguish the fire at Green Pack Phu Dong eco-tourism area, and at the same time guided hundreds of people to escape from the dangerous area.
At about 9:56 am on September 6th, when many people were gathering at the Green Pack Phu Dong eco-tourism area (Phu Dong commune, Hanoi), a fire suddenly occurred at the lunch break area for visitors.
The fire quickly broke out, engulfing a 1-story building with an area of about 100m2.
Immediately after discovering the incident, the communication system of Phu Duc 2 village, Phu Dong commune, notified switchboard 114.
Upon receiving the news, Ninh Hiep Detachment under Fire and Rescue Team Area 1, Fire and Rescue Police Department quickly mobilized forces and vehicles to the scene.
After about 15 minutes, the fire was extinguished.
Along with firefighting work, functional forces organized guidance for people present at the ecological area to evacuate from dangerous areas and move to safe places.
The fire did not record any casualties. The cause of the incident is being investigated and clarified by functional agencies.
