On the morning of March 5th, Hanoi City Police informed that the grassroots fire fighting team of a building in Linh Dam Urban Area promptly handled a fire on the evening of March 4th, rescuing people who were suffocated by smoke.
Accordingly, at about 7:51 pm on March 4, the Hanoi City Police Command Information Center received a report of a fire at apartment 12A38, HH1C apartment building, Linh Dam urban area (Hoang Liet ward, Hanoi).
Immediately after receiving the information, functional forces mobilized 2 fire trucks, 1 ladder truck, 1 command vehicle and 15 officers and soldiers of the Fire Prevention and Fighting and Rescue Police Team of area No. 5 and area No. 12 to quickly arrive at the scene to organize firefighting and rescue.

Through reconnaissance at the scene, functional forces determined that the fire had been controlled and extinguished by the building's grassroots fire prevention and fighting team using on-site fire fighting equipment beforehand. However, there was still a lot of smoke coming from the fire area inside the apartment.
The Fire and Rescue Police force then deployed smoke escape measures to ensure the safety of the area, and at the same time coordinated with local forces to bring a victim with mild smoke inhalation to a safe location and transfer him to the nearest medical facility for health checks. Currently, the victim's health condition has stabilized.

The fire did not cause any casualties or property damage and is being statistically determined. The cause of the fire is being investigated and clarified by functional agencies.
Through the incident, it can be seen that the proactiveness and quick handling of the grassroots fire prevention and fighting force has effectively promoted the "4 on-the-spot" motto, creating conditions for professional fire prevention and fighting police forces to deploy other professional measures.
