Cua Nhuong Fishing Port project has a total investment of 280 billion VND, invested by the Management Board of Agricultural Construction and Rural Development Investment Projects of Ha Tinh province, and started construction on January 20, 2024. This is a project using capital from compensation for marine environmental incidents of Hung Nghiep Formosa Ha Tinh Iron and Steel Company Limited.
This fishing port project has a capacity of 400 CV ships that can enter and exit the port during the dry season, the capacity to dock 100 ships/day, the amount of seafood passing through the port is about 16,000 tons/year, meeting a level 2 fishing port.
In addition to building a fishing port, the project also includes dredging the channel into the port and the water area in front of the port, and sand prevention dikes.
