Information from Hanoi Police, at 11:52 PM on January 14, 2026, the fire prevention and fighting and rescue communication system of the Command Information Center (TTTTCH) - Hanoi City Police received a fire report at a warehouse belonging to a branch of a company, located inside the Tu Liem industrial cluster, Nam Tu Liem ward, Hanoi City.
According to Hanoi Police, the above facility has fully implemented the declaration and update of fire prevention and fighting information data on the database system and installed incident reporting equipment according to regulations.
Thanks to this, as soon as a fire occurs, the fire alarm signal is automatically transmitted to the Command Information Center, and at the same time transferred to the Fire and Rescue Police Department, and the phone of the head of the facility.
Data information is fully updated to help the Fire and Rescue Police quickly analyze and identify grassroots characteristics, access traffic, water sources, on-site forces..., thereby guiding on-site forces to organize initial firefighting.
At the same time, TTTTCH urgently mobilized Fire and Rescue Team No. 16, Fire and Rescue Team No. 17 and Fire and Rescue Team No. 23 - Hanoi Fire and Rescue Police Department to dispatch 1 command vehicle, 5 fire trucks and 33 officers and soldiers to the scene to quickly organize fire fighting and rescue.
Along with that, the Commander of the Fire and Rescue Police Department and 2 command vehicles and officers and soldiers directly went to the scene to direct fire fighting and rescue work.
Immediately upon arriving at the scene, through reconnaissance information grasping the situation, the area where the fire occurred was the warehouse adjacent to the factory of the Branch of Dong A Pharmaceutical Logistics Joint Stock Company in Hanoi with flammable substances mainly paper, cardboard, catton,... generating a lot of smoke, toxic gases and potentially spreading to the adjacent factory area.
The fire commander at the scene quickly directed officers and soldiers to urgently bring personal protective equipment and breathing tanks to approach and search for victims, and at the same time deploy attack teams to prevent the fire from spreading and approach to extinguish the fire.
After a period of efforts to fight the fire, at about 00:22 on January 15, 2026, the fire was basically controlled by the Fire Prevention and Fighting and Rescue Police force, thereby preventing the fire from spreading, protecting the entire factory area with an area of about 1000m2 with many goods and assets inside.
Initial information, the fire has no casualties, property damage is being coordinated by functional forces to compile statistics and serve the cause investigation.
Hanoi City Police assessed that the above incident once again showed the effectiveness of reporting and installing incident reporting equipment in fire prevention and fighting. The connection of the system contributes to shortening the time for detecting and reporting fires, improving the rapid response capability of the local force and the Fire Prevention and Fighting and Rescue Police force, limiting the risk of fire spreading and large fires.
