Upon receiving the news, TTTTCH dispatched 6 fire trucks, 1 ladder truck, 1 truck carrying vehicles and 1 fire command vehicle of the Fire and Rescue Team, Area No. 4, 13, 15 and 31 - Fire and Rescue Police Department (Hanoi City Police) along with about 50 officers and soldiers to the scene to quickly deploy fire fighting and rescue.
The area where the fire occurred was identified as a motel room on the 3rd floor of the 8-story motel, with an area of about 136m2.
Immediately after arriving at the fire, the Fire Prevention and Fighting and Rescue Police force deployed a fire fighting and rescue formation, organized fire fighting, and promptly prevented the fire from spreading to the floors. At the same time, the Fire Prevention and Fighting and Rescue Police force guided people to escape to the roof, deployed ladder trucks and organized rescue for people to escape safely.
After a period of efforts to organize firefighting and rescue, by 2:10 am on the same day, the Fire and Rescue Police force completely extinguished the fire, preventing it from spreading to surrounding households, guiding and rescuing all 7 people in the house safely.
