At 2:30 p.m. on December 25, the Fire Prevention and Rescue Police of District 1, in coordination with the Fire Prevention and Rescue Department of Ho Chi Minh City Police (PC07), dispatched about 6 fire trucks and dozens of soldiers to the scene, still trying to extinguish the fire at a bar on Ly Tu Trong Street, District 1.
Initial information at around 1:30 pm, a fire broke out, accompanied by high smoke from a bar on Ly Tu Trong Street (District 1), near Ben Thanh Market. People around tried to put out the fire but failed.
Upon receiving the news, the Fire Prevention and Rescue Force of District 1 Police arrived to coordinate in extinguishing the fire.
Because the fire occurred near Ben Thanh market, in the central area of District 1, with a large population and tourists, many tourists and curious people stood on the side of the road to watch.
The cause of the fire and damage are being investigated by authorities.
