Tractor trailer fire on HCMC - Long Thanh - Dau Giay highway

    Dong Nai - On the morning of December 24, a tractor trailer caught fire while traveling on Long Thanh bridge on the Ho Chi Minh City - Long Thanh - Dau Giay expressway.

    According to initial information, at around 7:20 a.m. on December 24, a tractor trailer with license plate 50H-541.20 was traveling on the Ho Chi Minh City - Long Thanh - Dau Giay Expressway, heading towards Dong Nai province. When reaching Long Thanh Bridge (through Long Thanh District), the driver discovered that the vehicle suddenly caught fire.

    Upon receiving the fire alarm, the Fire Prevention, Fire Fighting and Rescue Police Department of Dong Nai Province Police and Long Thanh District Police dispatched 3 fire trucks and 18 officers and soldiers to the scene to put out the fire.

    At about 7:50 a.m. the same day, the fire was completely extinguished.

    Although there were no casualties, the tractor was burned down.

    Currently, authorities are regulating traffic and investigating the cause of the fire.
