On the afternoon of June 23, information from the Fire and Rescue Police Department (PCCC and CNCH) of Quang Tri Provincial Police said that the unit is focusing maximum forces and specialized vehicles, coordinating with functional agencies, local authorities and people to make efforts to deploy large-scale forest fire fighting in the two communes of Trieu Co and Vinh Dinh.
Accordingly, in the face of the complicated developments and the risk of spreading fires, the Fire and Rescue Police force simultaneously mobilized many fire trucks, command vehicles and dozens of officers and soldiers to urgently approach the two scenes.
Here, the Provincial Police force closely coordinated with the Forest Rangers, Military Command, Commune-level Police, forces participating in protecting security and order at the grassroots level, militia and self-defense forces, and hundreds of local people participating in extinguishing the fire.

Recorded in the areas where the fire occurred, the forces quickly divided into many prongs, many directions of attack to spread out forces according to each key area. Soldiers continuously opened firebreaks, deployed high-pressure water spray formations, and at the same time used fire pumps and specialized vehicles to approach and handle deep fire points.
Despite the intense hot weather, strong winds, combined with hilly terrain and thick vegetation, causing the fire to break out fiercely, the forces are still straining to stick to the scene to minimize damage.
As of 4 pm on June 23, the forest fire in the area of Van Van and Tra Tri Phu villages (Vinh Dinh commune) has basically been controlled and is under the control of functional forces.
However, in Trieu Co commune, the fire is still developing extremely complicatedly due to the heavy impact of hot and dry weather, continuous strong winds and dangerous terrain, making it difficult to access. Rescue forces are still continuing to focus manpower and vehicles, deploying synchronous professional measures to urgently completely control this fire.
Currently, firefighting and remediation efforts are still being implemented.
