According to residents, the fire broke out fiercely in the factory area, flames quickly rose high accompanied by a column of black smoke engulfing the area. The bright red light could be observed from a distance, while smoke continuously spread outside the factory premises.
Many residents living nearby gathered to watch the incident, while functional forces urgently deployed vehicles and personnel to control the fire and prevent it from spreading.
On the morning of June 16, in an exchange with Lao Dong Newspaper, a representative of Nguyen Giap Commune People's Committee said that the fire occurred in the area containing raw materials for production of the enterprise. After receiving the news, the Fire and Rescue Police force of the City Police urgently deployed vehicles and controlled the fire.
According to initial information, the fire did not cause any casualties. The fire mainly occurred in the outer area, where materials are gathered for the production process.
By nearly 2 am, the fire was basically extinguished, and functional forces continued to spray water to cool down and treat the embers to prevent the fire from rekindling.
Currently, the cause of the fire and the extent of property damage are being further verified and clarified by functional agencies.
