At about 5 pm on April 4, on the Phan Thiet - Dau Giay expressway, section about km44 through Tan Minh commune, Lam Dong province, a truck fire occurred.
At that time, the truck was traveling in the North-South direction. When arriving at the above location, the vehicle suddenly caught fire in the front. Discovering the incident, the driver quickly steered the vehicle into the emergency lane to stop.
The fire then broke out strongly, quickly engulfing the front of the car, accompanied by a column of black smoke rising high.
Upon receiving the news, the fire and rescue police force mobilized 2 specialized vehicles and officers and soldiers to the scene from the people's service road along the expressway.
Soldiers crossed the protective fence, deployed firefighting plans, focused on controlling the fire, preventing it from spreading to the truck bed to minimize damage.
Due to strong winds at the time of the fire, the fire spread to the dry grass area along the roadside. The fire was quickly extinguished.
At the scene, many people stood on the service road to watch the incident. The highway management unit and Highway Traffic Police Team No. 6 (Room 6, Traffic Police Department) urgently arrived at the scene, placed warnings, and regulated vehicles passing through the fire area.
