At this time, due to the rising water level of the Lo River, strong currents broke the anchor ropes, both ships drifted to the Lo River bridge area in Van Cuong 1 area and then sank.
In which, ship TQ-0867 slightly collided with Song Lo bridge pier. At the time of the collision, there were 5 people on 2 ships, all of whom managed to jump into the river and swim ashore safely, so there were no casualties.
Currently, both vehicles are stuck in the bridge abutment, so it is not possible to determine the extent of property damage.
Immediately after receiving the news, leaders of Phu Tho Provincial Department of Construction, along with leaders of Doan Hung Commune People's Committee and Doan Hung Commune Police, were present at the scene to inspect and direct the protection of the scene.
