On April 27, the Economic, Infrastructure and Urban Department of Nha Trang ward said that it had worked with Mr. Nguyen Van Huyen - owner of Win Shop business - regarding the incident of store staff throwing shoes at the face of a foreign tourist.
According to Mr. Nguyen Van Huyen's presentation, on the morning of April 26, a foreign customer brought a pair of sports shoes to the store to exchange with the reason that the selling price was not the listed price.
During the process of receiving, an employee named D. Y. N suspected that the shoes the customer brought were not products of the store, so the two sides argued.
After that, the customer used his phone to film close-up of the employee, making the situation tense, leading to the two sides arguing loudly and developing inappropriate behavior.
After the incident, Mr. Nguyen Van Huyen actively contacted the customer directly to apologize and compensate for a new pair of shoes. The Russian tourist accepted the apology from the store owner.
Regarding related employees, the facility owner said that he had temporarily suspended them to rectify the service process and attitude towards customers.
