At noon on April 26, leaders of Nha Trang Ward People's Committee said that they had grasped information related to a fashion store employee throwing shoes at a tourist's face.
Immediately after that, the ward leaders directed specialized agencies to inspect and verify the authenticity of the clip being spread on social networks.
Previously, on social networks, account D.F posted content in English, reflecting the incident that occurred at a fashion store on Nguyen Thien Thuat street, Nha Trang ward.
According to the shared content, a few days ago, this tourist bought a pair of sneakers at the above store.
After using it about 3-4 times, the tourist discovered that the shoe sole was broken. When returning to the store to complain, this person said that this was a manufacturing defect due to the sole lacking glue, and at the same time requested the store to check and handle it.
However, according to reports, instead of receiving and resolving complaints, sales staff had acts of attacking tourists.
The clip recording the incident is about 1 minute and 20 seconds long, quickly spreading on social networks, attracting many mixed opinions.
Some opinions suggest that the reason why the female employee reacted harshly and lost emotional control in front of foreign tourists is unclear.
Besides, there are also cautious opinions that it is necessary to fully verify the accuracy of the clip as well as the time of the incident before making a conclusion.
However, many opinions believe that in any situation, extreme behavior, especially the act of throwing shoes at tourists' faces, is offensive and negatively affects the image of local tourism.
Currently, the case is being further verified and clarified by functional agencies.
