Chairman of Binh Dinh Provincial People's Committee Pham Anh Tuan requested the Provincial Traffic Project Management Board (PMU) to strictly manage the quality, progress, and construction volume of works, especially those selected to celebrate the 50th anniversary of Binh Dinh province's liberation and welcome the 21st Provincial Party Congress.
Resolutely handle contractors with weak capacity, lack of responsibility, and construction that does not ensure quality and progress requirements. Periodically conduct scoring to evaluate contractor capacity, as a basis for eliminating weak contractors, not allowing them to participate in other construction packages in the province.
Thoroughly educate all cadres and civil servants of the Provincial Traffic Project Management Board to strictly implement discipline and prevent corruption in the performance of official duties, and not to allow harassment, extortion, collusion to reduce quality and share workload with contractors.
Select cadres and civil servants with professional qualifications and ethics to perform technical and project management tasks; promptly handle negative and corrupt cases for the purpose of warning, deterring and internal rectification.
Regarding the Quy Nhon - Pleiku expressway project, the Chairman of the Binh Dinh Provincial People's Committee requested the Provincial Traffic Project Management Board to actively coordinate closely with relevant ministries, branches and the Gia Lai Provincial People's Committee to carry out the project's investment documents and procedures.
Regarding the Phu Cat Airport Expansion Project, the Runway No. 2 item, the Provincial Transport Project Management Board coordinated with the Ministry of Transport and relevant ministries and branches to soon submit to the Prime Minister to assign the province as the investor to implement the project investment procedures.
Actively coordinate the implementation of investment preparation procedures to organize implementation immediately after the policy is issued. In addition, continue to study proposals for the construction of terminals and parking lots to implement investment when required.
